General Jewellery FAQs

What types of jewellery can I find at Elviah?

Elviah brings together elegant jewellery pieces designed for everyday styling, festive occasions, weddings, parties, and special events. Explore necklaces, earrings, bangles, jewellery sets, and statement pieces based on your look.

Yes. Elviah is designed to make jewellery shopping online simple, with product details and images to help you choose the right piece before ordering.

Necklace sets, earrings, bangles, bridal jewellery, pearl designs, crystal jewellery, and traditional-inspired statement pieces remain popular choices for weddings, Eid, parties, and festive occasions.

Look at the product material, dimensions, included pieces, photographs, finish, care instructions, and return or exchange terms before placing your order.

Start with the outfit, neckline, event, and overall level of detail. A statement necklace may suit a formal wedding look, while smaller earrings or a delicate set can work better for a lighter outfit.

Many jewellery styles can be paired with Pakistani wedding outfits. Choose the size, color, stone detail, and overall design according to your mehndi, nikkah, barat, or walima look.

Absolutely. Necklace sets, earrings, bangles, and statement jewellery can be styled with sarees, lehengas, shararas, ghararas, formal suits, and other traditional outfits.

Yes. A simple necklace, elegant earrings, or a refined bangle can add detail to dresses, blazers, co-ords, and other Western or contemporary outfits.

Jewellery can make a thoughtful gift for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, Eid, engagements, and other occasions. Choose a style based on the recipient’s usual colors and jewellery preference.

Look for versatile designs in colors and shapes that work with several outfits. If you prefer everyday wear, choose lighter pieces rather than highly elaborate statement designs.

Good proportions, clean finishing, balanced stone placement, a well-designed setting, and careful detailing can make jewellery look refined regardless of the price point.

Start with versatile earrings, a classic necklace or necklace set, and a few bangles or bracelets that can be worn with multiple outfits. Add statement pieces for weddings and formal occasions.

Not necessarily. Matching one color, stone, metal tone, or design detail is often enough. Exact matching can sometimes make the overall look feel too coordinated.

Yes. Mixing pieces can create a more personal look. Keep at least one element consistent, such as the metal tone, stone color, or overall design style.

A practical collection usually includes versatile earrings, a simple necklace, a statement piece for formal occasions, and bangles or bracelets that can be worn with multiple outfits.

Necklace FAQs

How do I choose the right necklace?

Consider your neckline, outfit, face shape, occasion, and preferred jewellery size. A shorter necklace can frame the neckline, while a longer design can create a more elongated look.

A refined statement necklace can complement a formal dress, especially when the neckline leaves enough space for the necklace to stand out.

A longer necklace or pendant can work well with a high neckline. You can also skip the necklace and let statement earrings become the focus.

A V-shaped or pendant-style necklace can follow the natural direction of the neckline and create a balanced appearance.

Shorter necklaces, chokers, layered designs, or structured statement pieces can complement a round neckline depending on the outfit.

Yes, but balance is important. If the neckline and embroidery are already detailed, consider a necklace with a cleaner silhouette.

Let the necklace remain the main focus. Pair it with simpler earrings and minimal additional accessories if the necklace is particularly detailed.

Yes. Layering works best when the necklaces have different lengths and the designs complement rather than compete with one another.

Use different chain lengths, keep the color palette consistent, and avoid combining too many large pendants or heavy designs.

Some lightweight necklaces are well suited to everyday wear. Always check the individual product’s material and care instructions before wearing it regularly.

Yes. Delicate necklaces and understated pendant styles can add detail to an office outfit without making the look too formal.

A statement necklace can add visual interest to a simple outfit, while a delicate chain can keep the look understated.

The choice depends on the dress neckline, embroidery, and wedding function. Heavier necklace sets can work for grand bridal looks, while lighter designs may suit smaller functions.

Choose a piece that complements the outfit without competing with it. Crystal, pearl, colorful stone, and elegant statement designs can all work depending on the dress.

Yes. A necklace can add color, define the neckline, introduce sparkle, or become the central accessory in an otherwise simple outfit.

Necklace Set FAQs

What is a necklace set?

A necklace set is a coordinated jewellery combination centered around a necklace. Depending on the design, it may include matching earrings or additional pieces.

There is no universal combination. Many necklace sets include matching earrings, while some may contain additional coordinated jewellery. Always check the individual Elviah product description for the exact contents.

For weddings, consider the outfit’s embroidery, neckline, color, and function. More elaborate sets can work for formal bridal events, while refined designs are suitable for wedding guests.

For Eid, choose a set that complements your outfit without overwhelming it. Pearl, crystal, colorful stone, and elegant gold-tone styles can work well with festive clothing.

Yes. A coordinated set is convenient for gifting because the pieces are designed to work together. Consider the recipient’s preferred colors and jewellery style before choosing one.

Yes. Matching earrings can often be styled independently with simpler outfits, giving you more ways to use the set.

Store the pieces separately in a dry, protected place. Keeping jewellery away from moisture, perfume, and chemicals helps maintain its finish.

Earrings FAQs

What types of earrings are suitable for Pakistani outfits?

Studs, drops, hoops, jhumka-inspired designs, chandeliers, and statement earrings can all work with Pakistani clothing. The right choice depends on the outfit and occasion.

Consider your hairstyle, neckline, outfit embroidery, and necklace. If your necklace is elaborate, a more balanced earring can keep the look refined.

Choose earrings that complement the necklace without competing with it. Smaller drops, studs, or moderately detailed designs can work well.

This is a good opportunity to make the earrings the main accessory. Statement earrings can add enough detail on their own.

They can be, depending on their size and weight. For long hours of wear, lightweight designs are usually more comfortable.

Consider the weight, size, fastening mechanism, and how long you expect to wear them. Lighter designs are generally easier to wear for extended periods.

Longer drop or elongated designs can create a visually lengthening effect. However, personal style should always come first.

Oval faces can work with many earring shapes, including studs, drops, hoops, and statement designs.

Some jewellery finishes can change over time, particularly when exposed to moisture, sweat, perfume, or chemicals. Proper storage and care can help maintain their appearance.

How do I choose the right bangle size?

Measure the widest part of your hand when your fingers are held together, or use a well-fitting bangle as a reference. Always check the sizing information provided for the specific design.

Bangles should be comfortable enough to move naturally without being so loose that they slide excessively or so tight that they are difficult to put on.

Yes. Stacking bangles is a classic styling option. Combine complementary colors, textures, or finishes for a coordinated look.

There is no fixed number. A smaller stack can look refined, while a larger combination can create a traditional festive or bridal appearance.

Choose bangles that complement the bridal dress, necklace, earrings, and other accessories. Color coordination is often more important than making every piece identical.

Bangles are traditionally more rigid and often slip over the hand, while bracelets may use chains, clasps, or flexible structures. Both can be styled for everyday and formal looks.

Bangles are often thinner and worn in stacks, while kadas are generally wider, more substantial, and may have an opening or clasp depending on the design.

Colorful and more playful designs can complement the festive nature of a mehndi outfit. Consider the dress colors when selecting stones and finishes.

A sophisticated set with refined sparkle can work well for a walima. Consider the usually softer and more formal styling of the outfit.

Store each piece separately where possible, especially necklaces and earrings. This helps prevent tangling, scratches, and unnecessary friction.

Bridal Jewellery FAQs

What jewellery does a Pakistani bride usually wear?

A bridal look can include a necklace, earrings, bangles or kadas, maang tikka, jhumar, hathphool, rings, and other traditional accessories. The exact combination varies by bride, outfit, family, and wedding function.

There is no fixed number. Many brides create different looks for mehndi, nikkah, barat, and walima rather than wearing the same jewellery for every event.

It should complement the dress rather than necessarily match it exactly. Consider the dress color, embroidery, neckline, and overall styling.

The best necklace depends on the neckline and amount of embroidery. A heavier statement design can work with a grand bridal look, while a lighter design may suit a more detailed neckline.

She can, but balance is important. If both pieces are extremely detailed, the face and neckline can become visually crowded.

Gold-tone jewellery, pearls, crystals, and complementary green or neutral stones can work well with green outfits.

Pearls, crystals, soft metallic tones, and lighter statement designs can complement pastel bridal outfits without overpowering them.

Give yourself enough time to try the jewellery with your outfit, check the fit, and make any necessary styling adjustments before the wedding events.

Yes. Many statement pieces can be styled with formal dresses, Eid outfits, dinner looks, and other occasions after the wedding.

Think about the mood and formality of each event. Mehndi looks can be colorful and playful, while nikkah and walima styling may call for more refined pieces.

Yes. Artificial and fashion jewellery are commonly used when brides want elaborate designs without purchasing a full real-gold collection.

If the neckline is already elaborate, choose jewellery that works with its shape and leaves enough visual space. A very busy necklace can compete with the embroidery.

Ideally, consider both together. The neckline, embroidery, color, and fabric of the dress can significantly influence the jewellery that works best.

Choose one main focal piece and allow the other accessories to support it. Coordinating colors and finishes can help create a more cohesive bridal look.

Jewellery materials vary by design. Always check the individual Elviah product description for the stated material, finish, stones, and other specifications.
